  • I joined the lacrosse team from freshman year to sophomore year. During my time there, I learned to work as a team, rely on others for support, and have others feel comfortable with me. With a background in field hockey for eight years, I encouraged others to join lacrosse. We won two trophies, including district champions, in 2022.

  • Chris Perez taught me acting for film, improvisation, how to project my voice, and the difference between acting for film and theater. I also learned the technical terms used in the industry. Together, we created my acting reels, which I wrote and acted in.

  • In the months of online classes with Lisa, I learned to be extroverted and network to expand my brand as an actor who promotes their work. I also focused on comedy scenes and practiced finding the proper beats and landing a punch line.

 

Dubbing/Voice Acting Classes

  • My instructor, Danielle, taught me warm-up techniques to properly modulate and project my voice so that I could create a character just using my voice.

 

The Actor Academy

  • Every month, we focused on a different television genre, including action, drama, comedy…etc. Beginning with a foundation class, we later used our skills in a short, improvised scene with teammates.

  • Practice two times per week.

  • I joined the team as soon as it became available in my town. I worked hard to improve my skills and participated in multiple tournaments during the seasons. We won the gold medal at the Field Hockey Shooting Stars Easter Tournament First Place Medal in April 2021.

I worked dubbing the supporting character Sara and helped translate her line from Spanish to English. As this was a Hispanic series, my bilingual skills came into play, and I would often speak in both languages between scenes.

I extended her participation to the other channels managed by Oso World, including ItsOsoTV and Katie Angel, creating content for kids and expanding to social media and other new media platforms.
